Attendance at school is really important for every child. Please see the section on Attendance.

Permission for holidays during term time will be dealt with on an individual basis and will only be considered if the holiday constitutes ‘exceptional’ circumstances.

The leaders will also consider whether the child usually has excellent attendance and whether the holiday is part of a pattern of leave. Parents should submit their request by letter to the office. 

School Hours

The school day starts at 8.50am and the cloakroom doors are open from 8.45am for children to make their way in and be ready to learn. 

The school day ends at 3.20pm. This means that children attend school for 32.5 hours a week. 

In nursery the day runs from 9.00am to 3.00pm
