Despite the tremendous rain, which was spurting down as fast as a lightning strike, the chocolate brown dog cautiously crawled through the breathtaking sight of the prickly nettle trees. But, he struggled to precautiously dodge through them as the tempestuous wind was vigorously pushing the critical nettle trees inwards.

For those of you wanting to take part but who weren't in the booster group today, here is a quick explanation!
A BOYS sentences is basically a two part sentence.The part ends with a comma and the second part starts with a coordinating connective. The most popular are but, or, yet, so (hence the name BOYS) although others can be used too.
e.g. Cautiously the terryfing werewolf crept towards the young man's body, but when it twitched he darted away.
Laughing hysterically, the young boy stood in front of his father, yet he couldn't explain the joke because of the tears running down his face.

Good effort M & M! The two parts of your sentence aren't really linked - what does yet mean? Think about this and then see if you could adapt your sentence a little.

The young cat was running frantically across the house, trying to get away from the ferocious dog. As the cat ran under the bed,she knew she could not go anywhere unless she went in the air vent. So that is what she did. She crawled through the dusty,dark place. When she came up for breathe she suddenly came to her comfy pink bed.
